I HAVE TO TELL YOU!

I’ve had over 30 lawyers over the last 40 years, and Steven has been one of the very best ever. He is tough as hell and I really appreciated that……He’s not afraid to ask uncomfortable questions of the opposing party, nor of me. He seemed to me to always be on top of things, which seemed to calm me down, knowing that I was in the right hands. No heart-attack lawyering here, as Steven keeps up with his work load and you’re never rushed to “get something out the door NOW!”, that some other lawyers wait to do at the last minute, of the last hour, of the last day.

Most importantly to me, he didn’t act like a god, and think he was in any way superior to me. He never talked down to me or belittle me, as some other lawyers are so inclined to do…….He even answered my phone calls right away, if he can – many times on his cell phone — which seems to irritate 90% of the other elitist lawyers out there!…..WOW, he’s actually someone who became a friend, that you’d be proud to invite to dinner, because you know he cares about you and me.

I had a problem with a Realtor. I made an offer to purchase three contiguous lots with a plan to build on the lots. Only after my offer was accepted did I find out the Seller only owned two of the lots. I sued. The attorney for the Seller did a masterful job of delaying month after month and then explaining away the problem as if it were a minor detail that could be corrected.
